Feeding program

The kids come to be fed not only physically but spiritually as well. They age from 2 to 14





The kids are split into 3 groups 2-5 years old are the corazones (hearts) 6-8 years old are the caritas (smiley faces) and last but not least the estrellas (stars) 9-14 years old. We have out grown our facility, so they eat in age groups.

We have a team of youth from Conexion Vital that assist us every week. While they are in their groups they are ministered to by songs, prayer and a story out of the Bible accompained by a worksheet. We let them do projects so that they can take them home and share it with their families.

Dylon is really involved with his kindergarten class. He has participated in every activity possible.

paola

Paola is a nine year old little girl who is in a wheel chair. She is very quiet, but can melt your heart with her shy sweet smile. She and her 4 brothers and sisters have added our feeding program since day one. So you can imagine our surprise when we received the call from her mom saying that she was in the hospital after having a heart attack due to a blood clot. She also has a degernerate disease that has attacked her kidney, pancreas and heart. We went to visit her in the hospital and the news was not good, she had a degenerate disease that the Dr. said was terminal. We prayed for her and she asked Jesus into her heart. We left the hospital to receive even worse news that her kidney, heart and pancreas was no longer functioning correctly. Days later, she was released from the hospital. They still did not give her good news, but she is back at home now and has returned 3 weeks in a row now to the feeding program.

Conexion Vital comes to our house

Conexion Vital has grown. We had the youth group over to our house, it was rainy and they all had to walk. We didn't think that we would have that may show up. It was rainy and cold.


To our surprise we had 58 young people show up.

Here are a few of them. We are so blessed. In this picture alone shows 3 of the young girls that we are ministering to. All three of them have been on drugs. Now they are saved and off drugs.

july 4th

The U.S. Embassy put on a fourth of July party for all the North Americans (gringos). It was nice to celebrate the States even though we are so far away. There was the raising of the flag and the National Anthum. God bless America!
