May with the Herrera's

We have been doing a lot of work trying to get the mission ready for all the teams that will be coming this summer.


Mark Mullin has brought a team from Kansas with the sole purpose of helping finish the mission. Thank you Kansas team for all your hard work.


We are happy to announce the birth of Daniel Christian Salas weighing in at . Danny and Melissa are the proud parents. He is perfect and we can't wait to meet him.
Welcome DSM first 2 interns. Felicia and Brittany will be in Costa Rica for 3 weeks. They will be helping us prepare for teams, feeding program and all areas of the ministry. While they are here they will also be traveling to Nicaragua. We are so glad they are here they are such a blessing to us.
It's hard to believe that it has been a year already since La Candela was destroyed. God did a lot of good things there and many souls were won for the kingdom. I pray that God continues to bless the seeds that were sown in the lives of so many little ones there. It is even harder to believe that we have been "making smiles" in La Carpio for a year already. Thank you for all the teams that have came down to help make a difference in the lives of so many kids. God is so good and faithful.

Dylon turns 5

Yes, I know it is hard to believe but Dylon has turned 5 years old. On May 28th, 2002 Dylon was born weighing 9lbs. 4 1/2 oz. Now five short years later he now weighs 48 lbs. he is a true joy and blessing to all.

He got his left-handed guitar that he wanted, thank you Beta (grandpa)!
He loved all his present and was so thankful. We all had a blast.
